Mid Winter Mad Money Giveaway

I don’t know about you – but I’ve had a week from hell. It started off with finding out that my “privacy was breached” due to a stolen hard drive at my Student Loan Agency – me and 583 000 other borrowers…Class action pending… THEN I dumped coffee on my laptop (typing this from my Mom’s).
My point? I could use a pick me up! And what’s the best way to make yourself feel better? By doing something nice for others! So… despite my stressing (and depressing week) I couldn’t be more excited to be a part of this giveaway hosted by The Tutor House.

Some of my amazing bloggy friends and I have teamed up for this Mid Winter Giveaway – just because! We are giving away not one, but TWO $75 gift certificates to TeacherspayTeachers. Per-ty awesome, huh?

This giveaway runs from January 18th and goes until 11:59 PM CST January 21st.

  1. Hang in there, I’m sure something great is around the corner. Nothing you feels more helpless than technology working against you. Thank you for sharing your creativity with us; you have been inspirational.

    • Thanks Heather.

I wrote that post a couple of days ago (and set it to publish today). Things snapped into perspective for me yesterday morning though, when I found out a student from the first group that I ever taught (and his grandmother) were killed in a horrible car accident. He was 20. They were on their way to pick up her husband from the airport, as he’s been working out west for the last little while. All I could do was picture that poor man sitting and waiting for his family to arrive to pick him up, only to find out that they weren’t coming. It’s been a shock to the small community that I live in.

Anyhow, thank you for your comment. I kind of feel silly about complaining about such things now though, as you can imagine.

      Krystal
